Meet Dr. James Chon
Dr. Chon grew up in Southern California, earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA, and completed dental school at UNLV. After a life-changing mission trip to Guatemala, he shifted his path toward a career driven by purpose and patient care.
He is passionate about helping people feel like themselves again — restoring the ability to smile, eat, and live comfortably. With a warm, honest approach, every patient feels seen and supported.

When does Dr. Chon see patients?
Dr. Chon sees patients on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The office is open Monday through Saturday for scheduling, billing, and questions. For a genuine dental emergency, Dr. Chon comes in on his off days, so same-day care is possible — call or text the office. An emergency visit is the same $95 flat visit, or $0 out of pocket with an active PPO plan.
What does a first visit cost?
The New Patient Special — an exam with Dr. Chon, digital X-rays, and a professional cleaning — is $95 flat, or $0 with an active PPO plan.
Do you take PPO insurance?
Yes. In Line is in-network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Delta Dental, Guardian, Humana, MetLife and UnitedHealthcare. Other PPO plans are welcome out-of-network, and that works like this: you pay at your visit, we file your claim the same day, and your insurer reimburses you. You get an estimate beforehand, so you know what to expect. Insurance and the In Line Member plan are not mutually exclusive.
How much does a dental implant cost?
$1,990 per implant — the implant, abutment and crown — when Dr. Chon's exam and 3D scan confirm you're a candidate. If your case needs anything more, you get an itemized written price at your free consultation before anything begins. Dr. Chon places and restores your implant himself, with no referral out.
What languages do you speak?
English, Spanish, Korean, and Vietnamese. Your exam, your questions, and your treatment plan can all happen in the language you're most comfortable in.
Do you offer financing?
Yes, on approved credit, through CareCredit, Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay, Sunbit, LendingClub, and Proceed Finance. Your treatment is priced in writing, itemized, at your exam — before you decide how to pay.
